금강체력공원생활체육야구장 개장 기념 제5회 군산시장기 생활체육야구대회가 오는 20일 개막식 행사를 시작으로 4개 구장서 5주간의 대장정에 돌입한다.

이번 대회는 금강체력공원 내 생활체육야구장이 개장함에 따라 새로운 야구 인프라 구축을 축하하고 나아가 군산야구 발전을 기원하기 위한 뜻깊은 행사로 진행될 예정이다.
이번에 새롭게 문을 연 금강체력공원생활체육야구장은 총 사업비 1억7천여만원을 투자해 운동장, 덕아웃, 사무실 등을 설치했다.
특히 이번 대회에는 클럽 19개팀, 직장 9개팀, 공무원 14개팀 등 총 42개팀 약 1500여명의 선수단이 참가할 것으로 알려져 역대 최대 규모로 치러질 계획이다.
