스피드∙정교한 기술 해상 선두기업 우뚝!

글로벌시대 초일류 기업을 지향하고 있는 군장국가산단 소재 (주)대경STB(대표이사 정오균)가 28일 전북기업의 날 선정 기념행사를 가졌다.

이날 행사에는 김완주 도지사를 비롯 채정룡 군산대총장, 이학진 부시장님, 기관단체, 기업체대표, 임직원 등 120여명이 참석했다.

전북기업의 날 운영은 모범기업으로 선정된 기업 생산활동을 소개하고, 모범근로자 표창과 근로자 사기진작으로 생산의욕을 고취시킴으로서 기업과 지역사회가 상생 협력할 수 있는 분위기를 조성하기 위해 추진되고 있다.

모범기업으로 선정된 대경STB는 전북도의 지원을 받아 사원휴게실을 리모델링해 쾌적한 휴식공간 제공으로 사원 편의는 물론 생산성 향상에 크게 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

또한 2007년도 울산에서 군산으로 본사를 이전한 기업으로서 이전당시 85명에 불과한 사원이 현재 225명으로 증가함은 물론 지난해 154억원의 놀라운 매출을 올렸으며 2010년도 매출목표 160억원도 무난히 달성할 것으로 기대된다.

특히 이날 행사 전 김완주 도지사 주재로 열린 기업경영 애로해소를 위한 간담회에서 정오균 대표는 선박 블록 등 대형 제품 운반시 장애가 있는 공단내 전신주 지중화 사업 추진을 요청했고, 이에 김완주 도지사는 국도비를 지원해 추진되도록 적극 검토해 보겠다고 약속했다.

김완주 지사는 축사에서 “글로벌 시대에 걸맞는 선박부품 및 플랜트를 제작하는 우수기업으로서 꿈과 미래를 함께하는 세계속의 대경STB가 되도록 전직원이 노력해 줄 것”을 당부했다.

한편 (주)대경STB는 해상에서 새로운 길을 열어가는 선두기업으로 짧은 기간동안 발빠른 변화와 스피드하고 정교한 작업으로 놀라운 성장을 이끌어내 국내의 선박 구성품 및 수문, 집진기 등 플랜트 제작기업으로 성장해 가고 있다.
