회의도중 부적절 발언 A시의원 '20일 출석정지'

회의도중 부적절한 발언을 한 군산시의회 A의원에 대해 ‘출석정지 20일’의 징계처분이 결정됐다.

군산시의회 윤리특별위원회(위원장 조부철)는 30일 회의를 열고 A의원에 대한 징계수위 논의를 거쳐 만장일치로 이같이 결정했다.

시의회는 31일 임시회 본회의장에서 윤리특위 결정사항을 최종 의결할 예정이다.

A의원에 대한 ‘20일 출석정지’는 본회의 의결일로부터 개시된다고 시의회 관계자는 밝혔다.

한편 A시의원은 지난달 21일 제142회 시의회 정례회 행정복지위원회 보건소 업무보고 자리에서 부적절한 발언을 해 윤리위에 회부됐었다.

더불어 20일 출석정지 기간 동안에도
해당 의원에 대하여 세비가 집행이 되는지 관심있게 지켜봐야겠습니다.
무노동 무임금원칙인데도 불구하고 출석도 안하는 의원에게
세비를 지출한다면 감사를 벌이던지 주민소환운동이라도 해야 할 것 같습니다.

징계수위에 대하여 어느 정도 예상은 하고 있었지만 이건 아니네요.
역시 가재는 게편이라고 제 식구 감싸기만 한다면 말이 되겠습니까?
더불어, 해당의원의 발언에 대하여 고소사건이 진행중인데,
만일 이 고소사건에서 해당의원에 대하여 형법상 처벌이 이루어진다면
이렇게 경미하게 군산유권자들의 눈속임 징계만 한 시의회는 어떻게 대처를 할련지요?
이번 사태는 전국적으로 톱뉴스로 보도가 되었었고,
우리 군산의 이미지 추락에 커다랗게 기여를 했는데도
이런식으로 솜방망이징계로 유야무야 마무리가 된다면
군산시의회 구성원 모두와 민주당에 대하여 과연 유권자들이 생각을 하게 될까요?
