오는 6.2전국동시지방선거 기초의원 라 선거구(개정,조촌,경암,구암)에 출사표를 던진 유정찬 예비후보가 표심확보에 분주한 나날을 보내고 있다.
유 예비후보는 이번 선거에서 동군산 균형발전을 이뤄낼 후보는 자신이라며, 이를 위해 다양한 공약을 내걸고 유권자들에게 지지를 호소하고 있다.
유정찬 예비후보는 “우선 시의원 보수와 후원금을 기부해 급식비를 내지 못하는 지역소년소녀가장에게 월 200만원의 급식비를 지원하겠다”며, “아울러 공장폐수 및 생활하수로 악취 등의 피해를 겪고 있는 주민들을 위해 구암천을 복개해 주민들의 복지공간으로 조성하겠다”고 밝혔다.
이어 “20년 가까운 택지가 아직도 조성되지 않아 쓰레기장 및 농작물 경작으로 변해 버려 조촌동이 더욱 더 낙후된 지역으로 변해가고 있다”며, “이를 해결하기 위해 일부를 공용주차장 및 복지시설 등을 조성해 살아있는 주택단지로 조성하겠다”고 강조했다.
특히 “현재 동군산 발전 공해요인으로 대두되는 페이퍼코리아를 공단으로 이전하고 지역 주민의 레저공간과 전국 스포츠팀의 동계훈련지 및 대회유치로 지역 경제 활성화에 일조해야 할 것”이라고 덧붙였다.
유정찬 예비후보는 조촌,경장 새마을 협의회장과 바르게살기운동 조촌,경장 위원장, 조촌,경장동 통장, 조촌동 성당 대건회장 등을 역임했다.
